Dr. Richard P. Belcher, Jr. is Professor of Old Testament and Academic Dean at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. He is an ordained minister in the PCA and received his M. Div. from Covenant Seminary and his Ph. D. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He has served as stated supply for many churches in the area since coming to RTS Charlotte in 1995.

Dr. Belcher pastored an urban nondenominational church in Rochester, NY for ten years before pursuing his Ph. D. He is the author of numerous books including 'The Messiah and the Psalms', 'Prophet, Priest, and King', as well as commentaries on Genesis, Job, and Ecclesiastes. He will have a new book on Covenant Theology coming out in May, 2020.
